Scarecrows

In celebrating our wedding anniversary, we returned to the scene of the crime in Luing. To get there, you have to drive across the Island of Seil with its famous(ish) ‘Bridge Over the Atlantic’. When we got there, we found that they were having a scarecrow festival. I’ve no idea the origins of it but in the dozen or so times we’ve been up there, we hadn’t seen it before so I’m going to assume it’s new.

Seems like the whole place got into the spirit. Some were fun, some were living nightmares.

They also helped create the game, “Person or Scarecrow” which led to one poor guy, taking a breather at the side of the road, to be studied by us as we drove by.
